Dr. Varun Aggarwal did his MBBS from the government medical college and hospital Chandigarh. He joined the institute in 1998 and passed out in 2003. He joined Masters in Orthopedics in the same institute and passed out in 2008. He then joined Alchemist Hospital as joint research associate under prof Jaswant Rai. In November 2009, he joined Dayanand Medical College Ludhiana and continued his training there for approx 1 year. In 2010, he joined Government Medical College and Hospital Chandigarh again as a senior resident. He left the institute in 2013 to establish the concept of orthogolden institute.

Prof. Raj Bahadur needs no introduction and no words are enough to describe his professional accomplishments. He is my teacher and mentor. i have been thoroughly trained under him in various spine surgeries including cervical spine fracture fixation, cervical spine decompression, cervical disc replacement , anterolateral decompression and fusion of dorsal spine for caries and fractures, posterior fusion lumbar spine for fractures, disc surgeries and LCS surgeries. I am proud and fortunate to have had a lifetime opportunity to work under him.

Prof Rai is a living legend in the field of joint replacement. He retired from PGI and joined fortis hospital mohali. Thereafter he joined alchemist hospital , where I was lucky to have worked under him. He has indepth knowledge and fine understanding of the concept of knee replacement. I always tried spending maximum time with him in theatre and outside it to try gather as information I could gather from this master of joint replacement.

He is another genius in the field of joint replacement. He is professor and head , deptt of orthopedics dayanand medical college and hospital Ludhiana. A thorough gentleman and a intriguing personality, Prof Yamin has the skill to teach the most difficult thing in the most interesting way. I shall admire him throughout.

Prof Garg was my thesis guide and the head of the deptt of orthopedics when I was doing my masters. He is an established joint replacement surgeon with particular interest in orthopedic oncology and recocntructive surgeries. A very calm and pleasant personality, I used to approach him with my difficulties with utmost ease. He is the one who taught me how to actually plan my surgeries in advance and anticipate the likely difficulties. I shall always be grateful to him for showing confidence in me and standing by me always.

Prof Gupta is the most successful athroscopy surgeon in north India with a huge number of arthroscopy assisted ACL reconstructive surgeries to his credit. He is professor nd unit head in the deptt of orthopedics in government medical college and hospital Chandigarh. Prof Gupta is a very progressive man and leads a very disciplined life. He inculcated in me the habit of being uptodate in my information about orthopedic condition and medical research. I have many publications under him.
